Terms of use

These terms cover your use of this website, madebygroundwork.com, which is operated by Groundwork (registered as Made By Groundwork), an Australian web studio. By using the site you agree to them. They're short and written to be read.

What this site is for

The content here is general information about our services, plus articles written to help business owners make better website decisions. It isn't professional advice for your specific situation, and nothing here is a quote: cost is agreed in writing before any work begins.

Free website audits

Audits are provided free, in good faith, and reflect what we could verify about a website at the time we looked. They're yours to use however you like, including with another provider. We don't guarantee any particular result from acting on them, and requesting one doesn't oblige you to hire us (or us to take the work).

Our content

The text, design and imagery on this site belong to Groundwork or are used under licence. You're welcome to share and quote it with attribution; please don't republish it commercially without asking.

Client work

These terms cover this website only. Actual projects are governed by the written agreement we make with each client, which covers scope, price, timelines and ownership.

Links to other sites

Where we link to other websites, we're not responsible for their content or how they handle your information.

Liability

We work hard to keep this site accurate and available, but we provide it as-is and can't promise it will always be error-free or online. To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for loss arising from your use of this site. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

The legal frame

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia. If any part of them turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we update them, the new version will be published here.
