Groundwork (madebygroundwork.com), registered as Made By Groundwork, is an Australian web studio. This page explains what information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and how to have it corrected or removed. The short version: we collect only what you type into our forms plus anonymous usage statistics, we never sell it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

What we collect

Form submissions. When you use a form on this site, we receive what you enter: your name, email address, and message, plus your business name and website address if you provide them.

Usage statistics. We use privacy-friendly analytics to understand how the site is used. It is aggregate and anonymous: no advertising cookies, no tracking you across other sites, no personal profile of you.

That's the list. We don't buy data about you, and we don't collect anything else in the background.

Why we collect it

To reply to you, to prepare anything you've asked for (such as a website audit), and to understand which parts of this site are useful. We don't use your details for marketing lists, and we don't send newsletters you didn't ask for.

Where it's stored

This website and your form submissions are stored privately with the reputable cloud providers we use to run the business. Some of those providers keep data on servers outside Australia. By submitting a form you consent to your details being handled this way.

Who we share it with

Nobody, beyond the service providers above. We never sell, rent, or trade your information.

How long we keep it

For as long as it's relevant to the conversation or work it relates to. If you'd like your details corrected or deleted, contact us and we'll do it promptly.

Your rights and how to reach us

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email dan@madebygroundwork.com or use the contact form. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
